Lynn Tan

Lynn is an LPC-Associate in the State of Texas. She earned a MA in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. She has diverse experience working in hospital, church, and non-profit settings. Her areas of understanding include depression, anxiety, trauma, singleness, and intergenerational conflicts. She is EMDR trained and certified in premarital counseling through Prepare and Enrich.

Lynn counsels from a Biblically based, Christ centered approach utilizing Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused theories. These techniques include, but are not limited to active listening, assessments, homework, therapeutic confrontation, scripture reading, and prayer. Her approach to counseling is meeting clients where they are emotionally and spiritually. She believes that clients are the experts on their own lives and that the answers to their problems lie within them. There are moments in life when we all struggle and need assistance in shifting our perspective to press forward. Lynn enjoys coming alongside clients as they grow to find security and peace in their identity in Christ and work towards reaching their full potential.

Lynn enjoys her life as a single adult actively serving others. She likes iced coffee, trees, and good conversations about the deeper things in life.
