Counselor Fees

Fees are determined by counselor's licence status and type of service offered:

LPC

$150 - $180* per 50 minutes
Based on counselor credentials & experience

This rate applies to individual, couples, and family sessions with a fully licensed counselor. Sessions typically last for 50 minutes, but clients can request for double sessions.

*Some counselors offer sliding scale rates based on your yearly income.

LPC - Associate

$120 per 50 minutes

This rate applies to individual, couples, and family sessions with a counselor intern. Sessions typically last for 50 minutes, but clients can request for double sessions.

Counseling Practicum Student

$60 per 50 minutes

This rate applies to individual, couples, and family sessions with a counseling practicum student. Sessions typically last for 50 minutes, but clients can request for double sessions.

Groups

$100 per 90 minutes
Based on counselor credentials & experience

This rate applies to each group session with either a fully licensed counselor or a counselor intern. For available groups, click here. 

Couple Intensive

Contact the counseling office for intensive fees

Couple Intensives are prolonged couple sessions. Each Intensive's fee and length of time varies according to the need of the couple.

Pricing Information

Payments

We accept cash, check, or credit/debit. In order to help you stay current on your payments we offer payment through Quickbooks. You will be provided with a link to make your payment online after your first session. If you have any questions you can contact Counseling@JudahCCR.com or call (346) 302-8089.​

Cancellations

Please let us know as soon as possible if you discover that you will not be able to keep an appointment. No fee will be charged if you cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments will be charged the set fee for any appointment canceled with less than 24 hour notice, as the time and space have been reserved for the client. Exceptions will be given for emergencies. You will not be charged for appointments during your therapist's absence.

Insurance

We do not take insurance as we are considered an out of network provider. We encourage you contact your insurance provider to determine what your actual cost of counseling will be. It is possible they will provide reimbursement or apply counseling services to your deductible. We can provide you with a detailed statement to file for reimbursement with your insurance carrier.  A diagnosis will need to be given in order to be reimbursed under insurance.

Most insurance carriers do not cover couples, premarital, or marital therapy. Contact your provider to see what your mental health benefits are and what they pay for an out-of-network provider. 

Testifying in Court

It is our desire to provide you with the best care in attaining your goals. If your intention for counseling is only to aid in a court case, we ask that you choose an alternative resource. Court cases take up additional time and resources that we can use to help serve others.

 

For any subpoena that requires the counselor to make an in-person statement or be physically present for any legal proceeding:

  1. Preparation time (including submission of records): $200/hour

  2. Phone calls: $200/hour

  3. Depositions: $500/hour

  4. Time required in giving testimony: $500/hour

  5. Mileage: The current mileage rate set by IRS

  6. Time away from office due to depositions or testimony: $250/hour

  7. All attorney fees and costs incurred by the therapist because of the legal action.

  8. Filing a document with the court: $100

  9. The minimum charge for a court appearance: $5,000

  10. A retainer of $2,500 is to be paid at least 48hrs prior to the court date. If the costs for the testifying process exceed the amount of the retainer, then those fees will be billed to the client and/or their legal representative.

For any subpoena of client records, files, or the production of any other written statements:

  1. Preparation time for treatment summaries or production of other new documentation: $120-180/hour (JJCR's standard rate for clinical services per hour)

  2. Printing costs: $25 for the first 20 pages and $0.50 per page thereafter

All legal fees are due upon receipt of the invoice.
