LPC, EMDR Certified

Kimberly Daigle

Sometimes, the pain we carry feels too heavy for words. Counseling offers a space to gently explore that pain, giving it room to breathe so healing can begin. We may not be able to change the past, but together we can focus on where you are now and work toward the life you want moving forward. It’s okay if the process feels overwhelming—you're not in it alone. With the right support, change is possible, and you don’t have to carry it all by yourself.

Education & Licensure

I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology and went on to complete a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Houston Baptist University. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. I have also been EMDR Certified since 2023.

Professional Philosophy

My approach to counseling is eclectic, because I believe every person is unique and on their own path. There’s no one-size-fits-all solution—my role is to offer support, tools, and perspective to help you build a life that feels right for you. Sometimes, that means gently exploring the past to better understand how it’s shaping your present. From there, we can begin to look forward, creating space for healing, growth, and the future you want to live. I fully respect every individual's belief system and will always honor your values, traditions, and preferences throughout our work together.

Experience & Specializations

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of clinical and community-based settings, supporting individuals facing challenges related to mental health, trauma, addiction, and life transitions. These experiences have shaped my deep passion for walking alongside young adults and survivors of abuse as they navigate healing and growth.

I’m EMDR Certified and regularly integrate this approach in my trauma-focused work. I also draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and am currently in the intermediate phase of training in Somatic Experiencing. In addition, I incorporate techniques from Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as needed—always with the goal of meeting each person where they are and tailoring the process to their unique needs.

Personal Background

Outside of the counseling room, I’m a wife, dog lover, and someone who deeply values faith and community. I’m involved in my local church, where I find connection and purpose, and I also hold a 200-hour yoga teacher certification. Whether I’m spending time with my husband, walking our dog, or practicing on the mat, I believe in living with intention and compassion. These personal values naturally flow into my work as a therapist, where I strive to create a space that is grounded, nonjudgmental, and genuinely supportive.
