My approach to counseling is eclectic and tailored to the unique needs of each individual. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all path to healing, growth, or personal fulfillment. My role is to provide support, insight, and practical tools that help clients create a life that feels authentic and meaningful to them.
I also believe healing involves more than just the mind. Our bodies and nervous systems hold and communicate so much of our lived experience, especially through stress, trauma, and emotional pain. Because of this, therapy may include increasing awareness of the nervous system, emotional patterns, and bodily responses to stress, safety, and connection. Sometimes healing requires bringing the body into the process just as much as the mind.
Together, we can explore how past experiences may still be impacting the present while building greater self-awareness, resilience, and lasting change. I deeply respect each person’s beliefs, values, and lived experiences, and I strive to create a compassionate, collaborative environment where clients feel supported throughout their healing journey.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings, from supporting survivors of human trafficking to working in addiction residential treatment centers. Across each experience, I began to notice a common thread: how trauma and difficult life experiences shape the way we move through the world and influence our relationships with ourselves, others, and our sense of safety and connection.
Through facilitating groups, individual counseling, and couples sessions, my passion for trauma work and women’s issues continued to grow. These experiences have deepened my understanding of how emotional pain is carried not only in the mind, but also within the body and nervous system. My approach is rooted in helping clients build greater self-awareness, connection, and healing in a way that feels supportive, collaborative, and meaningful to their individual journey.
